This game was also DSU’s annual “Pig Pickin’” and the band day participants perform for a record - breaking crowd at DSU’s Parker-McCool Stadium. During the half time performance the band day participants played “Party Rock Anthem”, “DSU Fight Song”, and “Darkness on the Delta” with the mass ensemble.
The Band Day participants enjoyed a long day of rehearsals, socializing, and football supporting the “Statesmen”, officially, and the “Fightin’ Okra”, unofficially, of course.
